Marylebone Town Hall Wedding Photographer
Lauren and Tommy reached out to me early 2025 in the hope that they would find their perfect Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer. I’ve been a regular at this stunning London registry office for the best part of a decade now, so i know how weddings run here. This was music to the couples ears and they booked me after a call once we aligned on their vision.
The Marylebone Town Hall wasn’t the starting point for their wedding photography though. Lauren and Tommy opted to get ready 30 minutes away at the Tower suites hotel right next to one of Londons most well known tourist attractions – the Tower of London.
The Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography was put on ice until we’d captured the getting ready sessions, so I got cracking and started with the details while hair and makeup was underway.
I’ll often find myself going to the groom first because ladies like to have their photos taken when they’re almost wedding ready. I jumped in the lift and joined the groomsmen getting ready. As far as London wedding photography goes, this hotel had good ambience and it was spacious with plenty of natural light streaming through.
Couples book me as a Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer due to my ability to capture natural moments. I like to let the scenes roll with real personalities shining through and authenticity.
My London wedding photography continued with a visit to the reception room. A stunning location overlooking several on the capitals finest buildings including the Shard and the Tower of London. Beautifully decorated for a showcase event happening later in the day. My Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography couldn’t have started any better.
Lauren is a lady of detail and no getting ready session is complete without the giving of gifts. It’s a moment where nobody notices my camera, so I can keep this whole scene candid and flowing nicely.
It was now time for Lauren to show the world how she looked in her breathtaking wedding dress. I have to say that she knew her own body and chose a dress that complimented her so much. It was honestly a fantastic choice and she looked classy and stylish.
As a Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer, I’m always looking for something a little different. Something eye catching and creative. I took my moment as I saw Lauren putting her perfume on by the large hotel window. We had the Tower of London in the background and it was exactly what the couple had hoped for.
The wedding at the Marylebone Town Hall was moments away as I captured a few more portraits of Lauren before heading down the stairs to join the wedding guests leaving the hotel to go to the ceremony.
I could finally start my Marylebone Town Hall wedding photos. I travelled on the big red London bus with the guests and captured everyone outside the venue in anticipation for the bride. After 10 minutes we all headed into the famous ceremony room and waited for Laurens arrival. I enjoy being a Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer due to the sheer potential this place has. You can opt for various rooms to get married in, the decor inside is marble and dark wood, and the outside is gorgeous with the large stair case and iconic concrete pillars.
The ceremony, although just 15-20 minutes long went without a hitch. Lauren and Tommy had become Mr & Mrs at the Marylebone Town Hall wedding venue and I couldn’t be happier for them.
Most wedding photographers (and certainly those Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographers) will utilise the grand stairs outside the venue for their Marylebone Town Hall photos. It provides an exquisite backdrop as good as any in London and I started by using this location for the confetti shots.
I continued to use this area for my Marylebone Town Hall wedding photography for the couple shots. It offers an editorial vibe if you select the right moments and I think it suited my couple really well.
The big red London Bus had left with the wedding guests, so I had a few moments with Lauren and Tommy to capture some different locations nearby as their Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer and give the couple some lovely memories to look back on.
We headed back towards the Hotel after being the couples Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer and joined the guests having drinks and canapés. The light had all but gone from the day (due to being a winter wedding), so the scene was set for the second part of this Marylebone Town Hall wedding.
The speeches were candid and took place on the dance floor. No big stage and no large build up. Just an intimate few moments with the couples nearest and dearest and I loved it.
The speeches ended and the couple were quick to cut the cake and take part in their first dance so the party could start. There were some very outgoing guests that made this one to remember. The more outgoing the better in my opinion. It wrapped up a gorgeous day where I’d been a Marylebone Town Hall wedding photographer and ended up at the Tower suites hotel.
What a wedding and what a couple. They were so relaxed and very well suited. I wish Lauren and Tommy all the very best for the future as they embark on an epic journey together. It was a blast and an absolute pleasure to be part of!
